Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain database management systems (DBMS).
• Monitor and optimize database performance and capacity.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Implement backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data.
• Collaborate with development teams to design and optimize database schemas.
• Troubleshoot database issues and provide solutions in a timely manner.
• Stay current with database technologies and evaluate new tools and approaches.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Database Administrator or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with multiple database platforms, including MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
• Experience with database tuning, backup, recovery, and security protocols.
• Familiarity with cloud-based database solutions is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
